Join a private event or respond to an invitation

Accept an in-app invitation before opening a private event and choosing a ticket.

Accept or decline

  1. Sign in to the account that received the invitation.

  2. Open Notifications and find the event invitation.

  3. Review the event details, then choose Accept or Decline.

  4. After accepting, open the event and claim or buy the appropriate ticket if one is required.

What happens next

Accepting gives your account permission to view the private event. It does not necessarily create a ticket. Complete the RSVP or checkout shown on the event page.

Declining closes that invitation. If you change your mind, ask the organiser whether they can send a new invitation.

If the invitation is missing

  • Confirm you are signed in with the invited email and account.

  • Refresh Notifications and check that the invitation has not already been accepted or declined.

  • Ask the organiser to confirm they invited your registered Attend account.
