Understand public and private events
Public events are discoverable; private events are limited to the organiser and people they invite.

Public events
Anyone with the link can view a public event page, including someone who is not signed in. Public events can also appear in Home and Search.
Buying or claiming a ticket still requires an Attend account so each ticket has a verified owner.
Private events
Private events are not listed in public discovery. The current web journey is invitation-led: an organiser selects registered Attend users and sends invitations. Accepting an invitation unlocks access to the event and its ticket options.
A copied private-event URL is not enough on its own. People without accepted access may see that the event cannot be found.
For organisers
Choose Public or Private during Classification. Private events must be shared using Attend's invitation tools. Do not describe someone as invited until you have actually sent them access.
