What happens when an account or event is restricted, removed or banned

Attend may limit features or remove access to protect users, enforce its rules or meet legal duties.

Last updated

Possible outcomes

  • Content or an event can be removed or made less visible.

  • Ticket sales, event creation or another feature can be limited.

  • An organiser payout can be delayed while an event, refund or dispute is reviewed.

  • An account can be suspended or permanently banned for serious or repeated breaches.

What happens to an affected event

Attend may treat an event removed for a confirmed policy or safety problem as cancelled. Where that happens, ticket-price refunds may be issued and the organiser balance adjusted. A visibility restriction does not always mean an event is cancelled, so follow the exact notice connected with the event.

What you should do

  1. Read the email or in-app notification carefully and identify the affected account, event or content.

  2. Stop the restricted activity and preserve relevant records.

  3. Correct inaccurate event information where the available screen permits it.

  4. If you believe Attend made a mistake, email Support@Attendit.app from the affected account with concise evidence.
