Use posts, stories and highlights around an event

Connect social content to an event before, during and after it happens.

Posts

Create a post from Attend and tag an event when the content is genuinely about it. Event-tagged content can appear in the event's Posts area as well as social surfaces. A normal post can exist without an event tag.

Stories and highlights

Stories are short-lived event-linked media. Highlights preserve selected event memories on a profile after the story window ends. Use the event shown in the creation flow so media is attached to the right occasion.

Keep content relevant and lawful

  • Post only media you have permission to share.

  • Do not expose private event links, door codes or personal information.

  • Do not falsely tag an event or person to imply involvement.

  • Event owners can control whether tagged content appears on their event surface, but do not own the user's original post.
