Reps & Guides Privacy Notice

How Attend uses application, referral, social media and payout information for the Reps & Guides affiliate programme.

Effective 20 October 2026Last updated 20 October 2026

This Notice explains how Attend uses personal information when you apply to or participate in its Reps & Guides Affiliate Programme, Including where you do not yet have an Attend account.

It supplements the general Attend Privacy Policy. It is a privacy notice, not a separate Affiliate contract, and you do not need to tick a second checkbox simply to acknowledge it.

1. Who is responsible

KWAM2 LTD (company number 16339627) is the data controller for this Programme. Its registered address is 17 Fort Pitt Street, Chatham, England, ME4 6SX.

For privacy questions and requests, contact Legal@KWAM2.Com.

2. Information we collect

We may collect the following information where relevant to your application or participation:

  • Application details: name, email, phone number, city, age or age range, role applied for, responses about experience, events and communities.

  • Social media: Instagram or TikTok handles, links, follower estimates, and relevant publicly available promotional activity.

  • Programme records: application and approval decisions, your assigned voucher or referral code, attributed organisers, eligible event activity and Programme correspondence.

  • Financial records: commission amounts, currencies, refunds, adjustments, payment status and payout history.

  • Payment verification: Stripe Connect account identifier, verification status and outstanding requirements. Stripe or another payment provider may collect identity and bank details directly under its own notice.

  • Safety and compliance: genuine complaints, reported misconduct, suspected fraud, investigations and relevant decisions.

  • Technical and acceptance records: account identifiers, IP address where necessary, activity and security logs, the Affiliate Terms version accepted and its timestamp.

If you are directly invited by Attend, we may obtain relevant professional contact information from an introduction, publicly available profile or another legitimate source and use it to contact you about the Programme.

We do not need you to provide a full bank-account number as part of the ordinary Affiliate application.

3. Why and how we use it

We use this information to review applications, verify eligibility, contact applicants, establish and administer Affiliate accounts, issue referral codes, attribute organisers, calculate earnings, manage payouts, answer questions, protect the Programme from fraud and meet legal obligations.

Where UK GDPR applies, our lawful bases include:

  • Steps before a contract and performance of a contract: handling an application and delivering the Programme you join.

  • Legitimate interests: proportionate Programme administration, security, fraud prevention, dispute handling and improvement, after considering your rights.

  • Legal obligations: required accounting, tax, regulatory and record-keeping duties.

  • Consent: specific optional activities where the law requires consent, such as certain forms of electronic marketing.

Necessary Programme messages, including application decisions, security notices and payout updates, are different from optional marketing.

4. Sharing your information

We share information where necessary with authorised Attend administrators, infrastructure and communication suppliers, payment providers such as Stripe, relevant advisers and authorities when legally required.

An organiser may need limited information showing that a referral or voucher applies to their account. We do not normally disclose an Affiliate's private payout history to that organiser.

Access to personal information is limited according to operational need. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Transfers outside the UK

Attend supports Affiliates in different countries and uses service providers that may process information internationally.

Where applicable law requires safeguards for transfers outside the UK, we use appropriate legal mechanisms and contractual protections.

6. How long we keep information

We retain information only as long as reasonably required for the stated purpose and for legal, security or dispute-related needs.

Financial, commission, payment and associated accounting records may be retained for up to Six years, or longer if required for an ongoing obligation or dispute, in line with the general Attend Privacy Policy.

Application and Programme records may be retained during application review, while you are active, and for a proportionate period afterwards where needed to investigate complaints, respond to disputes or demonstrate compliance. Records no longer needed are deleted or anonymised under Attend's retention arrangements.

Ordinary technical logs generally follow the retention periods stated in the general Attend Privacy Policy. A pending legal hold or active investigation may require limited records to be retained for longer.

7. Applicants who do not have an Attend account

You can apply before joining the app. We may retain and assess the application without first creating an Attend user account.

If you later register or sign in using a verified matching identity, we may link the application, approval, referral code and commission records to that account so you can use your dashboard.

Accepting the Affiliate Programme Terms does not automatically mean you have accepted the separate app Terms of Service or Community Guidelines. These are presented when required for app registration.

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live and the applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your information, request restrictions, object to certain processing, receive eligible data in a portable format, and withdraw consent where consent is the lawful basis.

You can contact Legal@KWAM2.Com to exercise those rights. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

If UK data protection law applies, you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). Other countries may provide rights through their local privacy regulator.

You can unsubscribe from optional marketing without losing your right to validly earned commission. We may still send necessary contractual, security and payment messages.

9. Updates and other policies

We may update this Notice if the Programme, legal requirements or our data practices change. We will bring material changes to your attention where required.

For information about your use of the Attend app, content, tickets, payment services, rights and security, also see the general Attend Privacy Policy at https://help.attendit.app/policy/privacy-policy.
